and repair that broken gate. Remember-
potential purchasers get their first
impressions from outside and these really
do count !

a “For Sale” Board outside
your home. It provides a prominent indicator
and is often spotted by the buyer
“checking out the area” in
preparation.

love homes that are bright fresh and
clean and will often pay a premium for
a home in “ move -in” condition.

Make
your home look its best by redecorating
where necessary and avoiding dark colours
which make rooms appear smaller.

Buyers
often exaggerate the cost of repairs,
so try to deal with any problems before
marketing your home.

Let
in plenty of light, open curtains, turn
on lights particularly during evening
and Winter viewings.

Remove
any clutter to make the rooms appear
larger neater and relaxing

and other pleasant aromas such as coffee,
bread etc will make the home more inviting.

overcrowd the viewer- see that only 1
or 2 people are at home for at least
the first visit. Bear in mind that not
everyone likes pets so keep them at bay.

the buyer round without rushing -don’t
make them feel pressurised !
